composer - orchestrator - cellist
From a young age, Troy launched headfirst into a life of music after being inspired by the emotive power of music storytelling in film, television and video games.
Beginning his studies on the cello at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School, Troy quickly transformed his performance knowledge into creating and exploring original music in the digital environment.
With a devotion to the orchestral tradition and a fascination with sound synthesis, he now creates music that melds the familiar and foreign to maximise emotion and narrative.
In 2017, he was the recipient of the prestigious Keith and Elizabeth Murdoch Travel Scholarship which enabled him to work within a number of film music studios in Los Angeles.
Troy is a lead composer for SCORED music services, Orchestrator at Play Pause Record, writes boutique production music for the MPATH Library, and holds a Honours Degree in Interactive Composition from The University of Melbourne.
